Our change to DD is very similar. Married 20 years, empty nest, I asked for DD. I think it is the times we were brought up in, women’s lib, independence etc. I believe society gave us “norms” to live within that does not suite our natural tendency and for many of us, we are naturally submissive and thrive in a submissive role.Axel wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 3:21 pmIn fact, many wife’s tells the same story as you do, that the husband had to be persuaded.

Is it the times? Has the age of feminism made that thinking impossible - for men?
Or is it true, that some sources claim, that there are many more submissive´s than dominant counterparts?
(FYI: I didn’t need any persuasion, I was born a HoH ...)

I think it’s as interesting as it is impressive that you manage to turn a twenty-year marriage around like that! In my first marriage we tried but it didn’t work out that well at all…
