If you copied and pasted the letter here, I would reread, spell check and redo sentences.

Raw and beautiful. What a hard letter that must have been to write!

Small suggestion but maybe bring up what possible benefits he can get from this lifestyle too

I think your letter was genuine and to the point and I could feel the emotion behind it. I am praying he takes this seriously and is at least willing to try. I can understand his fears completely though. What exactly was it that you bought?? You may even suggest a ‘warm up’ with hand or hair brush to make the paddle strikes not as shocking for you. Having a warm bottom before can definitely make it easier to take, than BAM full strength paddle strike to a cold bottom. Just a suggestion. Also for him it would be easier to gauge your reactions using hand or brush over the knee and help him to judge how hard to swing with the paddle. ♥️ Good luck. Keep us updated.

The letter was not well-received. He’s just not interested. I’m feeling pretty down - I think maybe he’s not really all that interested in me anymore, either.

Oh Tessa, I am so sorry to hear that. Perhaps he just needs time to process. Don’t mention it for a week or so and then bring it up again to test his thoughts. Good luck.
