Hello!! My husband and I have been practicing DD for just over 5 years now. We have been married for 8 years. I have been reading posts on here as a guest for a very long time- to the point that I feel like some of you are family members or friends.
I have never posted anything, anywhere, about our lifestyle before so this is a new adventure in a sense for me! I introduced/ requested DD to my husband. I have definitely learned that this is an ever-evolving lifestyle. We are still learning SO much. Our biggest problem is consistency... Which from what I have read seems to be common. He is, in my opinion, a dominant man at baseline, but is also a "southern gentleman" and sometimes still struggles with wrapping his head around disciplining his wife.. especially at the intensity I feel I need. But we have come a long way on this and are growing together. Our marriage has NEVER been better and our love has NEVER been deeper! Thanks everyone for making this blog spot possible!!

Welcome, Mal. I guess consistency is a common problem.

Any personal advice? I've read on here that alot of couples struggle with this.. it's like I feel like we finally get on track, until life gets in the way for whatever reason. Sometimes it does leave me feeling like he doesn't care about this aspect of our relationship bc I seem to always be the one who brings it back into focus. When it's good it's great, and when we are off track- well, it sucks.

It's been helpful for us to talk about things.... so we try to put aside time each night to talk about goals/ rules and our progress on them...we also try to talk before we go out somewhere that might be more relaxed or public- just a little refresher on the rules/ expectations and what I can expect if I break them.
