A little advice: On Valentine´s day punishments are suspended. Plain and simple.

The date on the calendar is no excuse for bad behavior. I can see room for some grace on that day, but it is not carte blanche.

I agree with Phil there is no one day on the calendar that is omitted from spankings. I recall not long ago that I spanked beauty on our 10 year anniversary. It allows for consistency throughout the process. If we start omitting special days then we open up “free for all days” in which the the Tih’s could possibly exploit. I agree also that there should be some grace on certain days but never a day free from spankings. If you mess up you get spanked or punished.

I knew I won´t be popular one here, but so what... A little call for mercy must be heard time from time.

Hahah, Miras, I'd have to agree. I would never be spanked on Valentine's Day, my birthday or any other special day. That's just cruel! Then again, I probably wouldn't be acting up on those days either.

And that´s the best approach of all!

I don’t believe it’s cruel to be punished on special days. Of course some leniency is also wonderful then. I agree that the best approach is... don’t do anything to earn it lol. To be honest, I respected beast more for handling what I did on the special day. I do believe it would of hurt the dynamic if he let it slide. But everyone’s got to do what works best for their relationship ❤️.

I agree, you act up on a "special" day, you get punished. If you have the mindset he or she won't punish me today because it's (said holiday), then it gives you more reason to act up. Mercy shouldn't be given just because it's a special day. Mercy should be given depending on circumstances.

I said the above in jest. I am not much of a rule-breaker ever and I doubt I would be in the mindset to be getting in trouble on special days. Hubs always spoils me rotten on those days so I wouldn't be acting out.
