Are there any techniques you use in your household to get things going again? When life gets busy and you decide it’s time to get back on track and get things under control again? We took a break due to my emotional state after a tragic loss. Somewhat started back again. Then took another break for his own reasoning. We have a hard time starting back again. Once we get going we’re fine it’s just getting to that point. Any ideas? Things you’ve done that worked?

I think if you have a good long talk about both of your concerns, it would be a great start. Maybe even maintenance spankings?

You could restore a rule or two and make them punishable. But it's important that you both on the same page.

I'm really sorry to hear about your loss.
in my experience, it's just been someone saying, alright, this has been given some slack- but it's time to get on track, and that jump starts the plans to a conversation around how to get back where we want to go

I'm really sorry for your loss :( Consistency is an issue in our life too so I can't really give advice, but I hope things get back on track for you

I love a good date night with a maintenance spanking before it. Works wonders for bonding and the date provides perfect opportunity to communicate alone. Dates don’t have to be fancy or expensive either. I once did a wine, cheese movie night right in our bedroom!
